Speaking
Eric believes life is a story to be lived, not a math problem to be solved so he looks to speak clearly through storytelling and his passion for scripture. His desire is to dive into scripture in a way that people of all ages can grasp and apply to their lives. Eric seeks to be a clear voice speaking as a guide in the journey of life and enjoys the opportunity to speak to any age and in any context. Eric has adopted a biblical worldview of leadership and this is often heard throughout a variety of talks. He also believes the words leadership and discipleship are interchangeable and uses his leadership platform to reach all he can with the gospel message.
Beyond the stage, Eric believes in relationships and getting to know people, making the eternal investment in what matters; people. You can see some examples of Eric’s teaching on the resources page.
“Eric spoke this summer at Camp Pearl with one of the toughest age groups, 5th and 6th graders. He did a great job at studying how to connect with this tough group and made sure that he presented scripture in a way that would make sense to them. In this, he exercised humility by giving our cabin leaders the tools and opportunities to follow through on important conversations with campers in a small group setting. We can’t wait to have him back with us!”
